Happy Thursday, dear friends, and welcome to Tablescape Thursday. Brunch is usually something that I love to prepare on the weekend. However, with us all being home every day of the week, I thought it would be fun to change things up a bit. I wanted to do something extra special for my family so I decided to surprise them with a weekday brunch of breakfast casserole and homemade donuts. I’ll have to say it was quite a hit!
French table linens set the stage for this sunny and cheerful tablescape.
I know I used my Spode Blue Italian china for last week’s table, but I decided to use it again styled in a different way.
Since I am not able to purchase fresh flowers, I decided to forage around the yard for blooms to create a centerpiece. My rose bush and purple Salvia was very generous along with some greenery lended from various shrubs. Yellow daisies left over from a Mother’s Day bouquet from my oldest son completed the arrangement.
My sweet friends, I hope that you are enjoying these beautiful spring days and taking the time to savor the simple things. Enjoy your day, and may it be filled with joy and blessings.

Shannon, your flower forage into the yard paid off splendidly, a perfect complement to your lovely table. I never tire of seeing your Spode, it is so lovely with your Country French linens. The brunch menu sounds delicious and I know your family loved it. Happy Thursday sweet friend!

Where did you get your lace curtains and who makesthem
I'm so sorry that I am late in answering your question. I found my lace curtains at A Touch of Class. They have an online store as well as a catalog. I'm unsure of who they are made by. I hope this helps. Take care, and enjoy your week!
Shannon, your table is gorgeous and I so love the blue Spode. Your table linens are gorgeous as is your arrangement. I know your family thoroughly enjoyed their scrumptious brunch.
Have a great weekend and stay well, sweet friend.
What a lovely table set for brunch! I enjoy blue and yellow. And the yellow placemat layered upon the other was a fabulous idea! A lovely spot in your kitchen.
Are there any donuts left?
Shannon, Your table looks great. I love how you used the Spode dishes and totally changed it up with a different look. Very creative and fun to challenge yourself when flowers are not readily available
