Happy Tuesday, dear friends! I hope that your week is off to a great start and that you had wonderful holiday weekend! I can’t believe that the final weeks of summer are fast approaching. Where does the time go?
Today, I am so excited to be joining my favorite group of tablescaping friends to bring you our fall tables. This wonderful party is being hosted by Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate. A schedule of the participants is posted at the end of this post.
In Oklahoma, it has been in the upper 90s with high humidity. I really wanted to set a table outdoors, but it has just been too hot and the mosquitoes are terrible! Therefore, I decided to move my table indoors.
A French Country theme using French table linens set the mood for my early autumn table.
Bright yellow sunflowers and red apples seemed to be the perfect choice for my centerpiece. The green transferware tea set was a recent estate sale find.
Yellow, reds, and greens were the color palette that I chose to accent the table.
My favorite fall dishes, Johnson Bothers Friendly Village, were chosen for the placesettings. American Fostoria glassware finished off each setting.
Thank you so much for your visits and sweet comments! Be sure to check out the other tables for lots of wonderful fall inspiration. I hope that you have a terrific and blessed Tuesday!!!

Shannon, I love the color palette you’ve chosen for your table, it’s perfect! I love The Friendly Village too, they are wonderful for a fall tablescape. Have a beautiful september, sweet, cozy and… with no mosquitos!
Just beautiful Shannon! I love all the details of your French Country table…from the beautiful linens to your JB Friendly Village. Your centerpiece with your transferware tea set with sunflowers and apples provides the perfect pop of color. It’s been oppressively hot here too~ way too hot for dining outdoors. It’s always a pleasure to blog hop with you. ♥
Shannon, That transferware tea set(perfect color for your placemats) is the ideal centerpiece with sunflowers tucked in the coffee pot! Sugar and creamer surrounded by apples on a round tray look terrific.
Your french linens, Friendly Village and Fostoria stemware make a great french country autumn table.
I agree we have a wonderful group of tablescaping friends.
Beautiful setting, Shannon! I love the Friendly Village pattern but only think about it’s use at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is perfect for this early fall setting, so relaxed, yet elegant. Thanks for the inspiration!
So pretty! That tea set was a great find and makes a lovely centerpiece. I love your French tablecloth and the Friendly Village dishes give a great taste of fall.
Shannon, your table is perfect and is so inviting. I also love the Johnson Brothers pattern and the green transferware was quite a find. It is so pretty and perfect as your centerpiece, with the ever so happy sunflowers. And, your French linens are lovely!
Wishing you a happy week and cooler weather, my friend.
Shannon, your French country table is perfect in your French country breakfast room! The green transfer ware tea set goes so well with the JB Friendly Village and how wonderful you found it at an estate sale. Your setting looks so warm and inviting and the linens are stunning. It is always a pleasure to blog hop with you. Have a wonderful Tuesday!
It is lovely! Can you share where you got that wonderful tablecloth?
Shannon, Your table is so inviting, this looks like a wonderful place to share time with others. I love your tablecloth, and you have complimented it so beautifully with your transferware. I love the sunflowers, we have several fields of them around us – but yet no one sells them. We have been in the same weather boat – 90’s and high humidity – I will be glad when the crisp fall air gets here. Thanks so much for adding such a beautiful table to our hop this week!
So pretty Shannon! I especially love the green transferware in the center and your bouquet! Friendly Village is one of my favorites too.
I am so happy to be joining you on this tablescape hop. Happy almost fall dear friend!
love everything about this table setting and the keeping room.
Shannon, I don’t recall ever seeing this part of your home used for tablescaping, but I love its casual tone so much. It resonates with how we live. It’s a perfect French look, yet using that classic American pattern Friendly Village. I must say with regard to my love of dishes, they don’t resell well, BUT…Friendly Village always does, and at a handsome price. It’s truly classic. Love the centerpiece, and that roosting hen on the window sill!
Shannon I love your French Country tablescape. I am so fond of the green transferware and what a find at the estate sale! Love JB dishes. Your linens are perfect. It has been very hot here in SW Florida but we are cooling off with the tropical storm that is passing through this week. I lived in Kansas and Missouri for years so know the Oklahoma weather quite well.
It is always a pleasure to blog hop with you and see all your inspirational pieces.

Those dishes are the perfect choice leading into fall. I like how the napkins and the red apples pull on each other and I love the tablecloth and the sunflowers!
I understand moving the setting indoors. Just last night we had friends over and although I love eating outside, everyone voted on the cool AC inside! Your setting is lovely. I really love the sunflowers and I also just adore those plates. Your colors are muted and subtle but capture the flavor of Fall perfectly!
What a beautiful home you have! I truly feel like I am in the French countryside. Maria
I adore sunflowers for fall Shannon, and I love the way you’ve styled yours in the beautiful pitcher vignette and tray. Yes, too hot for tablescaping! Your china is lovely~
A charming tablescape in a lovely room Shannon! I love the color combination, especially with the sage green — a personal favorite. The sunflower centerpiece ties everything together beautifully.
Shannon, I love your tea set and dinnerware – they are perfect for your fall tablescape! The sunflower centerpiece is beautiful! And I believe I have the same silverware pattern as you – I used it in my fall tablescape too! So happy to be hopping with you!

The setting for your table, between your sitting room and your kitchen is lovely and makes me feel welcome into your warm and welcoming home. The tablecloth you selected really set the scene for your country French style table. Sunflowers are an additional nod to the French countryside. Thank you so much for once again sharing your talents in another hop!
Shannon, what a rich fall color palette you have created. It’s casual yet very traditional and classic with a nod to French design. I always love seeing what you create.
