Fall Foyer

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends! I am so sorry that I was absent last week. With the start of school, things have been pretty hectic around the house. The first day of autumn is Saturday, and I am anxious for the change in seasons. Last weekend, I started my fall decorating, and today I am going to show you my fall foyer.

I am pretty much a traditional girl when it comes to decorating for autumn. I love the warm vibrant colors that the season brings.

Joining some of my blue and white pieces are pumpkins, gourds, autumnal leaves, and fall berries. I adore the pairing of these colors with blue. For an anchor to my vignette, I used a French Country table runner that I had made a few years ago.

Thanks so much for your visits and kind comments. I appreciate each and every one of them. I plan on finishing my fall decorating by this weekend, and I can’t wait to share it with you. May you each have a very happy and blessed day, dear friends!

How pretty! It looks warm and inviting. I love the traditional colors too. It is in the 80’s here still. I will start decorating the beginning of October. Our fall lasts through mid November usually here in NC.

  6. Beautiful! I love the fall colors with your blue and white transferware. I’m ready for fall weather and just beginning to think about decorating for my favorite season.

  7. Lovely Fall Foyer Decor! I love the Fall colors that are warm and cozy! I know it is still in the 80’s but Fall is not that far away. Where did Summer go?! Oh, and I love your chair fabric.

  11. Lovely Shannon! I have only managed to do a fall vignette on the mantel, you have inspired me to get busy and pull out more decor! What a wonderful welcoming space as people enter your home, I love the wreath hanging on the mirror!

  12. It looks absolutely beautiful, but I thought you had a different table here, from another post. Isn’t this the buffet table that you used to have in the dining room? Did you do a “switcheroo” on us? I also love to switch furniture around, pieces look almost new when they move to a new spot, right?

  13. Golly, really loving the deep rusts with this—-rich and still subtle??? excellent with the dark blue on white…loving this combo.Coming from Make it Pretty.
