Good morning, sweet friends. I know that today is usually Tablescape Thursday, but I have been really busy. Unfortunately, this week, I was not able to prepare a tablescape. Therefore, since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, I thought that I would show you my foyer adorned with romantic decor.
I shopped my house for romantic decor to fit the Valentine’s Day theme. The only thing I purchased were the roses from my local grocery store.
The Ex-voto heart was a gift from Mr. Bleu. It is from France, and its tradition dates back to the 11th century. It is carried as a devotional object and to give thanks for granted prayers, wishes, and intentions.
I placed my romantic vignette on a pretty silver tray. Anchoring the tray is a lace runner.
Adding to my table top vignette is this sweet book of romantic love letters. It is perfect for Valentine’s day. Along with the book of letters, I placed my rosary which was also a gift from Mr. Bleu.
On the coat closet door, I hung a mail box and filled it with Valentine goodies.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Maybe, you too can shop your house and come up with a romantic vignette of your own. I hope that you enjoy your day and have a blessed rest of your week.
