An Easy Spring Vignette, My Spring Foyer, and a Creative Decorating Idea

Happy Monday!!!  Spring is around the corner, and I cannot wait! The temperatures in Oklahoma have been unseasonably warm. It already feels like Spring is here.  For today’s post, I want to show you how to create an easy and beautiful Spring vignette. Also, I have an easy project that will add a special finishing touch to your display.

Trays are a perfect item to place a vignette upon.  I simply placed a blue and white plate, rabbit, and nest of blue and white eggs upon the tray. It is such an easy thing to do that will add a little Spring to your decor. I had most of the items on hand.

Now for the easy decor tip to enhance your Spring display…the eggs.  These eggs were simply made by taking faux eggs and decoupaging little squares of fabric to the surface.  It was so easy to do, and it adds such a special designer touch. I placed the eggs into a nest of raffia in a small crystal bowl.

To add a little extra flair to the bunny, I tied a blue and white ribbon around his neck.

Off to the side of the tray vignette, I placed a bouquet of tulips. I love mixing touches of pink with my blue and white pieces. It looks so bright and happy.

On the coat closet door in the foyer, I hung a pretty Spring wreath. The colors on the wreath tie back to the colors used in the display on the bombay chest.

The finishing touch to my entry hall is my bunny rabbit.  Every Spring, she graces the foyer and greets visiting guests.

Thank you so much for visiting today.  I still plan on sharing with you my youngest son’s bedroom makeover.  Also, I have been working on my Spring front porch along with other Spring decor ideas.  Last week, I was unable to post a blog because I was traveling with my family.  Hopefully, I will get back on schedule.  Thanks again for stopping by, and I hope that you have a beautiful day!!!

Sweet vignette Shannon! I like the unexpected blue for spring. I used decoupage to make some plaid eggs for Christmas. It’s a fun and easy project. Love that big bunny in the entry! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  17. How adorable is your Spring vignette. I love the blue and the Easter decor. Thank you for sharing at Dishing it and Digging it link party.

  18. I’m almost a year late in commenting, but I love this vignette! I’m a big blue and white fan and I think the colors go well with the brown bunny. It’s nice to see a brown bunny in a vignette since people tend to use white bunnies. Beautiful!

    • Thank you, Jan, for your very sweet comment. It is so nice to meet a fellow blue and white fan. It is a classic, and I have always adored it! I am so happy that you stopped by for a visit. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your week!!!
