Cozy Autumn Living Room Tour

Happy Monday, dear friends! Welcome to my cozy autumn living room tour. I’m so happy that you are here for a visit! Come on in, have a cup of pumpkin tea, and let’s take a look around.

In keeping with the theme of using what I have on hand for my fall decor, I chose to create a simple vignette placed upon a mirrored tray. It is effortless to assemble with a pretty plate in fall colors, a candle, fall branches, and a pumpkin.

Flameless candles are a favorite of mine to use in the fall and winter months. They add so much warmth and create a lovely glow in any room. An additional feature is that they are so realistic looking. They fool everyone!

You will find decoupaged pumpkins on both the mantel and coffee table. They are so much fun to create, and I had lots of fabric and old faux pumpkins on hand. It definitely gives an ordinary pumpkin a new look. This particular pumpkin is referred to as the Charles Faudree pumpkin. I had a piece of scrap Charles Faudree fabric that was left over from a pillow project. It is one of my most favorite fabrics, and makes the perfect pumpkin for my display.

The mantel is dressed in traditional fall colors along with my favorite blue and white pieces. A few more decoupaged pumpkins can be spied lying upon the mantel ledge.

A simple thing that can add a big impact to your decor is hanging a wreath to a mirror. I have had this wreath for years. Having traditional autumnal colors makes it one of my favorites. Red apples placed in a French jardiniere adds another seasonal pop of color.

Pheasant feathers from one of Mr. Bleu’s hunting trips are placed in the chinoiserie vases flanking the mirror.

Sweet friends, I am so happy that you joined me for a visit today. It just makes my day! Tomorrow, you are all invited to a Halloween party. I am so excited to be joining several of my blogging friends to bring you our Halloween tables. It is going to be lots of fun, and I promise my table will be a happy one! Take care, and have a most beautiful day!
