Happy weekend, dear friends! Today, I am so blessed to be joining a Season of Thanks Blog Hop. This wonderful hop is being hosted by my dear blogging friend, Amber of Follow the Yellow Brick Home. She has such a beautiful historic home. A list of the participants is at the end of this post. If you are visiting from Lora Bloomquist, welcome.
Please gather around the coffee table, and join me for some tea, pastries, and a little girl talk.
A warm fire burns in the fireplace to take the chill off the room.
Earlier in the week, I shared my Thanksgiving tablescape. These flowers were left over, and I just couldn’t let them go to waste. I took simple grocery store flowers along with a few pheasant feathers and placed them in a French antique copper jardiniere.
I paired my favorite Johnson Brothers Friendly Village china with a green transferware tea set that I purchased a few years ago at an estate sale.
Sweet friends, I am so happy that you joined me for tea this morning. Your sweet comments and visits make my day. Enjoy your weekend, and may it be filled with many blessings. Next up, on the tour is Kristin of White Arrows Home. Kristin has a gorgeous home located in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. I know you will enjoy your visit.

Such a Beautiful tea around your coffee table. Your tea set, along with the flowers, in your copper French jardiniere are such a lovely seasonal pairing.
Thanks for the girl talk! It was fun.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours dear Shannon.
Thanks for sharing your tea with me! What a lovely setting to have tea.
Beautiful tea, Shannon. Your room has a lovely and cozy ambiance. I love your tea table with your beautiful china and flowers. How I would love to sip tea and talk to you.
Pinning your post. It is so lovely.
Good morning Shannon. It is always a pleasure to be invited inside your beautiful home. Your room is so warm and welcoming with the coffee table set for tea and girl talk. The green transferware tea set is beautiful paired with Friendly Village, a favorite pattern of mine. The repurposed flowers add additional beauty to the setting. Wishing you a most wonderful weekend, my friend!
Oh my goodness! This is so inviting! Love it all!
What a charming and delightful place for a spot of tea Shannon! Your fireplace is so cozy, and your tea set and china cups are beautiful! Just looking at this tea table in front of your hearth makes me feel relaxed…in these busy times of go go go, always on the go, sitting down for tea sounds like the perfect way to unwind and put our cares aside for a while…even though I only joined you virtually, I feel so refreshed! Lovely Shannon!
Shannon, I'm a big fan of transferware. I have the same Friendly Village dishes! Your autumn tea is lovely! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
Gorgeous. I love Friendly Village. That tea set is fabulous. Happy Thanksgiving.
What a truly cozy scene! I have the Friendly Village plates and you've given me such inspiration. Happy Thanksgiving!
I too am a lover of traditional style, so I always love seeing your beautiful home.
Shannon, your autumn tea looks warm and inviting by the fire. That Johnson Brothers Friendly Village is a timeless pattern. Every time I see it at auction or at estate sales, it consistently commands a very good price. For dish lovers, it is true gem. I still don't have any of it, but love seeing it used by my vintage-loving blog friends. Happy Thanksgiving season to you and your family.
Such a gorgeous setting for tea, Shannon, I love it so much! I have tea every afternoon but I never think to make it this special. You've definitely inspired me to change all that. These pieces are just amazing! Hope your holiday season is magical, CoCo
Shannon, your tea table is lovely. Afternoon tea, or tea with a few friends is something quite special we seem to have lost. Tea in your beautiful home would be a treasured time.
I have the same pattern, different tea pot, that you do. I love it. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.
Shannon, it's always a treat to see your lovely home and have tea with you. Your dish patterns make a lovely mix and the fire looks so inviting!
What a wonderful idea to set up an autumn tea. Your dishes are beautiful and it all looks so cozy in front of the fire. Great to hop with you again!
