Happy spring, dear readers! Today, we are celebrating all the joy that spring brings! Unfortunately, where I live spring temperatures have been a little late to arrive. However, I am still seeing and hearing lots of signs of spring. The sounds of birds singing, and frogs croaking are starting to fill the air. Green is also starting to dot the landscape, and that is definitely a welcome sight! Spring also holds one of my most favorite holidays, Easter. Something special just resonates with this time of year. It is a time for rebirth and hope.
“That is one good thing about the world…There are always sure to be more springs.”-L.M. Montgomery
Today, I am joining my talented tablescaping friends to bring you our tablescapes ready to welcome the spring season. Our gracious host is Rita from Panoply.
A pink and green color palette with bunnies and chicks is the perfect theme to greet the season.
A simple bouquet of pink and white tulips also gives a gentle nod to springtime.
Each placesetting is anchored with floral Ralph Lauren placemats that I purchased several years ago at HomeGoods. For the plate stack, I chose my grandmother’s Spode Rosebud Chintz plates and my great grandmother’s Limoge plates topped with green Sarreguemine Majolica plates. The flatware is Hotel Lux by Wallace. Rounding out the settings is my grandmother’s pink goblets paired with green checked napkins from Amy Montgomery Home.
Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit happily reside over the dinner table.
Sweet little chicks are also happy to join the spring celebration. Flanking the centerpiece of tulips are pillar candles surrounded by pastel egg candle rings.
“Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life.”-Janine di Giovanni
A few more pops of spring have been added to the china cabinet. Little lambs happily reside on the top shelf and a cute Easter Egg house is perched below with pastel Easter egg branches. A few extra Easter eggs are scattered about for good measure.
“The great gift of Easter is hope.” -Basil C. Hume
“Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in spring-time.”-Martin Luther
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.-John 3:16

Most definitely a joyful table for the season! It's so colorful and pretty. Especially love your mix of linens.
Shannon your table is lovely. I do recognize your pink egg house in your hutch as I have the pink, the yellow and the blue ones also. Great minds think alike and go for the ultra cute things that Miss Valerie has. I believe I used mine last year or the year before that… I also like your pretty pink glasses and the pink and white tulips are stunning in your green majolica pitcher. It is always fun to table hop with you and see your lovely dining room all decked out for the holiday. Happy Easter my friend…and "He is Risen", Kari

Shannon, What a festive table. I love all the colors and whimsical bunnies. The centerpiece is striking, with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny on the ends with candle sticks, eggs, and a vase of tulips in the center.
Your china hutch is also very festive and all decorated.
I love your plate stack and coordinated fabrics for napkins and placemats. Your heirloom china is very special, and it warms my heart that it was your grandmother's.
Have a special Easter, my friend.
Shannon, I love to see all the pretty pastels on your table, from the placemats to the boughs of Easter eggs. Mr and Mrs Rabbit are special as are the cute little chicks. Being able to incorporate inherited pieces seamlessly adds extra warmth to an early spring tablescape.

Shannon, I'm drawn to pink and green too, especially in spring. It's sorta my theme this tablescape as well. Your grandmother's chintz plates are treasures. Don't you know she is pleased that you are using these with joy in your heart? I like the strawberry majolica. Such a pretty pattern! Fun to see your hutch decorated. I'm just beginning to bring out the Easter decor. Happy Spring!
Hello, Shannon,
Just love your home and all the pretty Spring table's and bunnie's, such fun to eat at your table, love, love all your blue, my favorite color and my house to has a lot of blue, this is so nice to see all that you have because here in CA we just have cold, storm's and
windy weather no Spring yet but you made my day looking at your lovely home, Happy Easter~~~~~Jean V.B.~~~~
Shannon, I love everything Spring in your tablescape and everything Easter. Your choice of florals in your placemats and dinnerware has made me anxiously await when Wisconsin will see signs of Spring. (So much snow here and everything is still white.) The pitcher of tulips really reminds me of the beauty of Spring and seeing those gorgeous tulips pop up from the flower bed. The added Easter decor adds such playfulness to all of the florals. Mr and Mrs. Bunny are so sweet and so are the charming little chicks made up of delicate little flowers. Your touches of Easter on your hutch, especially the cheerful pink egg house really pops against your beautiful displayed china. Happy Easter to you and your family!
Shannon, I am partial to pink and green myself, and. your table has paired the two perfectly. I must say Mr and Mrs. Bunny are quite a dapper pair! Your plate stack is especially pretty, and how nice it is to have your grandmothers plates and stemware. I love the whimsy of your Easter egg candle rings. I will have to keep my eye out for something similar! The green and white checked napkins are right up my lane, such a classic pattern that pair perfectly with your Ralph Lauren placemats! A pleasure to join you on the hop!
Shannon, your table sings joy for the blessed occasion of Easter, I love all the pastels and the pitcher full of tulips. All of the eggs remind me of Easter’s past when we would dye eggs with the kids- always a favorite activity at our house. I hope you have a wonderful celebration around this table! Wishing you a Happy Spring as well!🌷🌼🌱
Hello, Shannon! Oh, my! What a lucky gal you are to have so many treasures from your Grandmother! They add such a sweet sentiment of history and love – I am charmed!!! I particularly like the Spode Rosebud Chintzware, but I was completely stopped mid-scroll by your Majolica Strawberry Sarreguemines plates – oh my goodness! They are sensational!!! And such a perfect touch for Spring! Being a blue & white girl, I quite like your china cabinet styling too!!! Everything is so lovely and welcoming! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful table! It's a joy! ~Hugs ~ Jennifer
Shannon, what lovely dishes you have! You do such a great job mixing the patterns, your tablecloth, the napkins and the Spode rosebud chintz dinner plates! What a pretty centerpiece and adorable little chicks – and such a pretty mix of patterns and colors! Happy spring!
Even though the temperatures have been slow to warm up where I live, the author's description of the sounds of birds and frogs, along with the emergence of green in the landscape, made me feel hopeful. The tablescaping ideas with pink and green colors, bunnies, and chicks beautifully captured the essence of the season, and I could imagine the delightful atmosphere they created. This post reminded me of the simple pleasures and new beginnings that spring brings, and I can't wait to embrace them in my own life.
The combination of fresh flowers, charming place settings, and the adorable bunny centerpiece is a testament to your creativity. Your blog post has not only provided me with a visual feast but also with inspiration to embrace the joy of spring in my own home.
