Happy February, sweet friends! Valentine’s Day is upon us but not to worry! I know just the place to find lots of beautiful inspiration for your holiday tables. This week, I am fortunate to be joining twenty blogging friends to bring you our Valentine tables. Our party hostess is the very talented Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate.
On Valentine’s Day couples tend to go out to a fancy restaurant for a romantic dinner. This year, why not stay in? Gather your best china, crystal, silver, and linens and create something special for your loved one. If you don’t have time or enjoy cooking, you can order take out.
Make the occasion extra special with some pretty flowers purchased at your local grocery store. These pink roses grabbed my attention, and I knew they had to be a part of my table. Add a few candles for additional ambiance.
For my romantic table for two, I chose to do something a little out of the ordinary. I created an intimate and cozy setting by placing my round coffee table flanked by French blue chairs in front of a crackling fire.
Each placesetting is comprised of Haviland plates placed upon gold chargers. For an extra pop of color, red napkins with lace trim are added to the settings.
For a romantic touch, I placed a pretty lace table runner down the center of the table.
On the fireplace hearth is a chilled bottle of champagne and delicious sweet treats.
This week, please be sure to visit the other tables on the tour. A schedule is posted below. I know that you will find lots of pretty Valentine’s Day inspiration! Thanks so much for your visit! Take care dear friends, and enjoy your day!!!

I don’t think you can get more cozy than setting a table in front of a fireplace. Add roses and champagne and you have a perfectly romantic table for two! We usually stay at home for Valentine’s Day, I find it so much more calm and it makes time for us to connect with one another. Thank you so much for joining us for another blog hop! I have shared this in my Tablescape Facebook group!
Looks like an intimate cozy little setup! I’d love to sit b the fire during dinner with a glass of champagne. Happy Valentine’s day!

What a warm and cozy Tablescape! Love the beautiful china and nothing is more romantic than a dinner by the fire!
Wow, nicely done. I love it, and will be trying this idea with my hubby for V-day. Thanks!
You’ve definitely shown how much nicer it is to create a romantic spot right in your own home versus going out to a restaurant for Valentine’s Day. The way you’ve arranged your chairs and table in front of the fire looks so inviting and perfect for some intimate conversation while enjoying the champagne and cupcakes. Pretty dishes, lovely napkins and terrific candelabra all add to the fantastic setting – great job!
