A Pink and Blue Tablescape to Welcome Spring

Happy Thursday, sweet friends! I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for spring to arrive. Some parts of the country are seeing snow, while other areas are starting to see their first signs of spring. Here in Oklahoma, we have had some mild days which have me anticipating the change in seasons.  However, we have been known to have a snow or ice storm in March. I’m anxious to see what the month will bring. Fingers crossed, we won’t be seeing any of that winter stuff!!!

With dreams of spring, I decided to create a pink and blue tablescape to usher in the spring season.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember seeing this arrangement.  I created it earlier this week to replace my winter greens and berries in the foyer. Can you believe that these flowers are faux? They look so real!

To add texture to the setting, I placed a scrunched lace tablecloth down the center of the table to create a foundation for my centerpiece of flowers, ginger jars, and candles.

For the place settings, I started with a gold charger plate followed by a Mikasa English Countryside dinner plate topped with mismatched blue and white salad plates that I have collected over time. Rounding out the look are pink linen napkins, Mikasa Golden Tiara crystal glasses, and Oneida Michelangelo flatware.

Placed at the corner of the setting is a table housing my silver tea service ready for after dinner dessert.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Next week, I will be joining a group of bloggers to bring you another spring tablescape. Also, I hope to have my spring decor and porch ready to share with you soon. Take care dear friends, and it is my wish that you each have a very happy and blessed day!!!

  2. Good morning, Shannon! Your table is a breath of spring on this cold morning with a light frost. I am a big fan of blue and white, especially when it is mis-matched like your salad plates. The arrangement in the center complements your place settings. The delicate pink napkins are the perfect addition. I would love to sit at this stunning table and enjoy a cup,of tea with you. Have a wonderful Thursday, sweet friend!

  3. Lovely Shannon. I have many of your dishes and I love using them everyday!

  4. Beautiful table, Shannon! The flowers do look very real – I am glad they are making much better faux florals these days. Since it is snowing again here – we won’t have flowers from the garden for at least another month or two!! Your small touches of pink with your napkins and candles bring the flowers together perfectly with all of your gorgeous blue.

    • Thank you, Ann, for the very sweet words. It is amazing how far faux flowers have come. There are some really pretty ones on the market today. I hope that you have a wonderful week!!!
