Happy Tuesday, dear friends! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only a little over two weeks away? Not to worry though, my tablescaping friends and I have got you covered with lots of inspiration for your Thanksgiving tables. This fun event is being hosted by Rita of Panoply, and links to the participants can be found at the end of this post.
This year’s table is set with a grateful heart. My heart is truly full of gratitude for the many blessings that God has bestowed upon me. In one’s life, no matter how bad things may be, there are always hidden blessings to be found.
“To be grateful is to recognize the Love of God in everything.”- Thomas Merton
A gold charger anchors the plate stack of Spode Blue Italian plates topped with turkey salad plates. The turkey plates were purchased several years ago at T.J. Maxx. I chose not to use a tablecloth for this setting. The wood provides warmth when combined with the deep, rich colors of the French placemats and napkins.
A Crown Linen Design French Bee table runner is placed down the center of the table. It provides the perfect backdrop for the centerpiece. Burgundy candles, pearl embellished orange pumpkins, and Japanese Maple branches provide an added autumnal touch to the simple centerpiece. Purple mums, Autumn Joy Sedum, and nandina branches were gathered from my yard and placed in Spode Blue Italian pitcher.
A few Flow Blue pieces were also added to the table. As you know, I adore anything blue and white.
“Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer.”-Maya Angelou
Mikasa Golden Tiara glassware completes each setting. It was part of my wedding registry and has since been retired.
“I will give the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.”-Psalm 7:17
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.- 1 Chronicles 16:34
This year we will gather at my Dad and Mom’s house for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. I will be making a few dishes to share and cannot wait to celebrate my blessings with my family.
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.-Psalm 100:4
My sweet friends, thank you so much for gathering with me around my table to give thanks for our blessings. Your visits and gracious comments mean so much to me. I wish you a most blessed and peaceful Thanksgiving.

Oops sorry I meant to say Shannon not Sharon 🙁
Shannon, your turkey plates are so charming, and you've paired them beautifully with your classic blue and white. It's a pleasure to pull up a chair to your table. Blessings, Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction
Simply stunning table, and my favorite thing are the reddish pink little mums in your centerpiece! They remind me of the color of cranberries, and I like your red table linens, too. Your plate stacks are so pretty…and I do like the Flow Blue pieces. Turkey plates are always fun for Thanksgiving tablescapes. I need to try to find a few next time I go antiquing. Happy Thanksgiving!
Shannon, I love the French placemats and napkins that provide such rich color to your lovely table. The turkey plates topping the blue and white Spode are so pretty with the elegant chargers. The cuttings from your garden…sedum, purple mums, and nandina make a perfect arrangement for your table. CL has the prettiest linens. I love the scripture verses you included, and like you said we have so much to be grateful for! Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving season, sweet friend!
How beautiful Shannon, I love your colorful table full of your beloved blue and white accented with cranberry, turkey plates and pumpkins! Your chargers are stunning as are the glass pumpkins, so unique! Your sideboard looks really pretty too~ I loved the scripture verses you wove into your post, yes, we have so much to be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, you always put a smile on my face with your Shannon style~
Shannon, your Thanksgiving table is gorgeous. The French placemats plus napkins are so striking along with your pretty turkey plates. The chargers are gorgeous. How fun to forage from your garden clippings for the table. The Mikasa Golden Tiara stemware is so pretty. How special to celebrate with you mom and dad. Many blessings for you.
Shannon, you always amazed me at your exquisite tablescapes and how you combine so many rich colors and patterns in the table that creates such elegance. I absolutely love your fearless display of patterns in this table. It has such a cultivated richness to it. so superb and refined. The pop of vibrant blues and reds really sets it apart from all of the traditional colors of Fall and Thanksgiving and I love it. Your collection of blue and white pieces are stunning. I admire the blue and white tureen. Such a stunning Thanksgiving tablescape. Have a wonderful holiday with family and friends as you enjoy this fine tablescape.
Such a peaceful and calm table setting Shannon. I love everything about it from the French placemats to the beautiful chargers. The blue combined with the orange pumpkins…especially the glass pumpkins is stunning. I also have Mikasa pieces though not the Golden Tiara stemware. I have a service for 12 of the Mikasa "Just Flowers" and I love the pattern though I have never used the dinnerware in any tablescape. You are inspiring me to feature it in the near future. Thank you for being you and have a wonderful Holiday. Blessings to you and yours.
What a beautiful tablescape.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Shannon, your table is just lovely! I know that you love blue and white and you have incorporated these colors so beautifully into your table. The centerpiece is stunning, and the turkey plates on your Spode Blue Italian dinner plates make for a wonderful plate stack on those gold charger plates. The table runner is beautiful and I love it when people include items from the wedding registry like your beautiful glassware. The French placemats and napkins add a wonderful and rich touch to the table. It was lovely hopping with you and I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving celebration at your mom and dad's house!
Shannon, I think blue mixed with orange is one of my favorite combinations. Your table really reflects that! Great idea to pair the turkey plates with the Blue Italian, which always makes a beautiful statement. I agree about letting the warm wood tones of the table set the stage. Your French placemats work beautifully. Happy Thanksgiving to you, sweet friend. Yes, there is always something we can be grateful for.
Beautiful Shannon! I love your Spode Blue Italian paired with your Queen’s Myott Churchill turkey plates. Such a wonderful mix of patterns with your French placemats, napkins and CLD bee table runner. Your dining room has some much eye candy from the drapes, rug, and hutch filled with your collection of blue and white dinnerware! Love your mix of mums, sedum and nandina in your Spode vase as a centerpiece with your maple branches strewn along the table. I know you’re giving thanks that your mom and dad will be seated at the table with you. As always, it’s a treat to have a virtual seat at your table and hop with you! Wishing you a wonderful season of Thanksgiving. 🦃 🧡
A beautiful display of your love of blue & white, French reds, and a nod to the traditional American turkey in this tablescape, Shannon. I love also how you foraged your own garden for the center florals (something I haven't done due to the fact that my newest garden is still so immature, but I love to). Your words of prayerful blessings interspersed with the beautiful photos of your table are inspirational. We have so much to be thankful for. I am very thankful for even this simple little blog hop and being able to share all the talents of friends like you with our readers. Happy Thanksgiving season!
Such a peacefully lovely table! I hope you enjoy it for several meals even though you won't be hosting Thanksgiving itself. I was particularly drawn to the beautiful linens in pretty fall tones. It's delightful to hop with you! Happy Thanksgiving
Shannon, your dinning room has such a beautiful ambiance. I could see any gathering her as being warm and delightful with such a beautiful setting. I love the French placemats and napkins, bringing in more color as does your pretty centerpiece. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with your family. 🧡🦃
Shannon those pumpkins are so pretty! The blue of the dinner plate really works so well with the turkey plates, as they make the subtle blue/gray on the turkeys really pop! What a great use of the Japanese Red maple branches, both in the centrepiece and running along the table! Beautiful 🙂
