Happy Tuesday, dear friends! Today, I am joining several of my blogging friends to bring you our tables adorned for Easter. This special event is being hosted by the talented Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate. A list of the participants is at the end of this post. You will want to be sure to visit them as I know they will brighten your day and lift your spirits. If you are visiting from Debbee’s Buzz, welcome.
For many, this year’s Easter celebration will be quite different. I know mine will. It is my Easter tradition to prepare a big lunch and host both sides of Mr. Bleu’s and my family. I look forward to it every year. In fact, it may just be my favorite holiday. There are just four of us in the house right now. Our gathering will be small, but our hearts will be filled with gratitude for the Easter blessings that have been bestowed upon us. No matter how bad things may seem to be there are always hidden blessings to be found around us. The most important one is the Easter blessing that was given to us so many years ago.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” Peter 1:3
Please step inside my dining room, and join me for an Easter lunch with all of the delicious trimmings!
This year, Easter will be celebrated with grateful hearts. A pretty and festive table will be set and a delicious lunch will be prepared. We have been doing curbside pickup for our groceries, and our store shelves are quite bare. I was tickled pink when I was able to get a ham in my last order. Easter ham is a tradition for our family dinner, and one that I am thankful to keep this year. When all of this is over, I will have another celebration to be shared with all of my family and loved ones. For now, I will have to hold them close to my heart and be happy with a phone call and knowing they are safe and healthy.
For the setting, I chose to use my Haviland Moss Rose china paired with pink charger plates, green straw place mats, and my grandmother’s pink glassware.
For the underpinning of the table, I simply placed a tablecloth on the diagonal for a little interest and added color.
Mr. Bunny is standing guard at this end of the table.
Faux pink Hydrangeas and green and pink candles comprise the centerpiece.
Another bunny stands guard at the opposite end of the table.
Gathering some items that I had on hand, I decided to decorate the china cabinet.
I created floral swags and arrangements in pink and white flowers to be tucked into various areas of the shelving.
These sweet little sheep fit into the Easter and spring theme perfectly.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the word giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
My sweet friends thank you so much for your visits and comments. I hope that you will take the the time to set a pretty Easter table no matter how small your gathering may be. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and stay healthy!
Next on the tour is my very dear blogging friend Pam at Everyday Living. I know you will enjoy your visit at her beautiful Easter table.

Hi, Shannon: Your little sheep are darling. I’m going to find the one I got in Scotland several years ago. Putting the tablecloth at a diagonal is something I’m going to use. Thank you for reminding us that God is control and Easter is a time for celebrating the new life in Christ Jesus that we have been given. Love that you book ended your post with scripture. Blessings and Health <
The first thing that caught my eye was your beautiful pink hydrangeas Shannon, they look so real!! The way you did the tablecloth is a delightful surprise too, and everything looks so pretty with the soft pastel palette you used! Your china cabinet is gorgeous and those lambs, they are fabulous! Yes Easter will be different this year, but we can still celebrate and count our blessings…and visit through social media!
Shannon, your table is beautiful. So love the bunnies standing guard, they are quite handsome. Your china is especially lovely. Shannon, I believe everyone’s lives will be different, but we can certainly have wonderful celebrations when the crisis is over. Stay well, sweet friend.❤
Thank you Shannon for your lovely table so beautifully appointed. I agree with Jenna your faux hydrangeas look so real. I love how you placed the cloth on the diagonal. Your bunnies standing guard are delightful. What pretty ribbons they are wearing.

Shannon, what a beautiful table and decorated dining room, sure to be the scene of a wonderful Easter meal. Love the color palette of table — that sage green is a favorite of mine, and it looks so pretty with the pinks and blue. Couldn’t help but be drawn to that magnificent hutch (love the drama of the black finish), which you have decorated so sweetly with florals and those cute lambs. Wishing you a healthy April and blessed Easter with signs that that worst is behind us.
Shannon, you have set such a beautiful table. I like the plaid tablecloth set a diagonal – it adds a bit of the unexpected. Your cute bunnies at either end of the table look as they have donned in their Easter best with their big bows. Your hutch looks so pretty with all of your additional florals – the sheep look very content looking over the whole situation. I am glad you were able to get your Easter Ham – I am not sure what we will be doing – I am sure it will be just my husband and I as it has been for weeks – It’s a good thing we really like each other!!! I hope you have a healthy and enjoyable Easter, looking forward to sunnier days.

Our celebration will be different this year, as well, but you are right that we all need to keep a spirit of gratitude for what we have. There are those who are dealing with the loss of loved ones and jobs. I’m praying you all stay safe and healthy! Z
This is lovely Shannon! I enjoyed the mix of patterns and colors. Those dishes are sweet and I love the stemware of your Grandmother’s. Your buffet looks so pretty with the garlands and all your blue and white chinaware. I do agree with you no matter how you’ll be celebrating Easter set a pretty table!
Beautiful tablescape and hutch decor, Shannon! We have the same stemware–have always loved it’s hefty feel. Your sheep are precious–love their expressions! Hope you have a wonderful Easter, and glad you got your ham–it takes so much time ordering online, only to find out many of the items are not available. My heart is saddened for so many who have far more to worry about. Big hugs!
