Welcome Spring

Happy Spring, sweet friends! I am so happy that this glorious season has finally arrived! Recently, we have been blessed with some beautiful weather, and I have noticed that the trees are starting to awake from their winter’s nap. This makes me beyond giddy with excitement. I love the sense of renewal that each season brings, and I couldn’t imagine anyone not loving the beauty that spring brings.

Today, I am joining several of my blogging friends to bring you our Easter and spring decor. This fun tour is being hosted by the talented Amber at Follow the Yellow Brick Home.  A list and links to all the participants can be found at the end of this post.  If you are visiting from Petite Haus, I am so happy that you stopped by for a visit. Doesn’t Angelina have the most beautiful Country French home?

This morning, I would love to welcome you into my home to share with you how I adorned the entry for the spring season.

I kept my decorating simple by just adding a few fresh elements.

These sweet Staffordshire bunnies were purchased in the fall at an estate sale. I couldn’t wait for spring to arrive so they could make an appearance.

When I think of spring, I always think of flowers. Therefore, I thought this tole tray would be perfect for my spring vignette.

For more spring touches, boxwood topiaries were added to the display.

For the finishing touch, a pretty wreath was added to the mirror above the French chest.

For a little touch of spring on the small French chest below the barometer, I simply added some lovely pink flowers to my Blue Italian Spode vase. This is a little area opposite the French chest in the foyer.

Thank you my sweet friends for your visits and kind comments! Next up on the tour is Shelley from Calypso in the Country. I love her gorgeous home!  On a little side note, I wanted to let you, my dear readers, know that I will be absent from blogging over the next few weeks. I am having surgery and will not be doing any decorating for a few weeks. I don’t know how I will manage, because you know I love to decorate and do things around my home. It is just a minor surgery so not to worry…I will be back to decorating and blogging before you know it. I want to wish you all a most Happy Easter and wonderful and blessed spring, dear friends. May you have a most beautiful week!!!
