Happy Wednesday, sweet readers! I hope that your week is going great and that you are staying cool from the summer heat. Today, I want to invite you in to have a look around the entry decorated for summer and the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. Also, I have a new find to show you.
Those of you who have followed my blog know I adore the color combination of red, white, and blue! Blue and white porcelains, red apples, and a bouquet of American flags make the perfect patriotic summer vignette.
Now, on to the new find. Do you spy something in the background hanging above the antique china cabinet? The china cabinet is located in a pass-through behind the stair case that leads to the kitchen.
This Renoir reproduction canvas print was a find last fall when visiting an estate sale. The frame that surrounded it wasn’t very attractive. Therefore, I simply took it to my favorite art store and had it reframed. I was so pleased with how it turned out.
Chinoiserie vases flank each side of the painting. The blue pairs perfectly with the blue in the painting.
Additional red apples in a French jardiniere complete the vignette.
Dear friends, I am so thankful for your visits and kind comments. I hope that you have a most beautiful day filled with lots of joy and blessings!
