Refreshing Your Space with Linens and Flowers

Today’s post is all about refreshing a space with a few simple items. This weekend, I decided to make a few changes to the breakfast nook. I wanted something to better reflect the season at hand.  Nothing makes a space look new again better than pretty linens and seasonal flowers.

To freshen up the look of the breakfast area, I added red buffalo checked chair cushions to my dining set. I love the pop of red in the kitchen, and I adore buffalo checks.

I placed some fresh flowers in a fun Fitz and Floyd pitcher.

Pioneer Woman placemats in a pretty flower pattern were accented with cheerful yellow napkins.  Yellow is an excellent accent color for Spring. It is just so happy!

On the French Pastry Table, I placed some additional Spring flowers along with a few roosters and a bowl of fresh fruit.

With just a few simple items, you can definitely brighten up a space and make it feel new again.

Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope that you have a beautiful day!!!

  8. All so cheerful and pretty, and it looks so fresh. Spring! Also, love your china cabinet and in it I noticed something I love. Your Spode, Tower Blue plates. I chose them for my every day service, too many years ago. We still use them and I have never grown tired of them. They are lovely in your china cabinet – they draw your attention to them! Lovely post !

I love refreshing things every 2-3 weeks. I have chair cushions that will come out in July and cute cherry covers for the back of my chairs that I’ll pull our for June. I love the buffalo check cushions. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann
