Last weekend, the temperatures were a little cooler which inspired me to put together my Fall porch. I thought that today, I would give you a quick tour.
For the front porch, I purchased a new Fall wreath from Kirklands. They just happened to be on sale. All I had to do was add a bow.
Around the door, I hung a garland that I made last year.
I flanked the door with large flower pots. I planted pansies and a cabbage in each pot.
I placed some sweet little pumpkins at the base of the flower pots.
Also adorning the porch are urns with various pumpkins placed inside. I love these urns. Mr. Bleu picked them up at an auction for $5. They are solid cast iron, and I think they are very old. Mr. Bleu said that he picked them up for me because he thought they looked like something I would like. I guess he knows me all too well. It was a great find, and I adore them!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed Wednesday!!!
Beautiful! Our new home has a similar front porch, which is different from our current wrap-around porch. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you Zenda! You are so sweet! I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful day!!!
Your husband is a great shopper! Everything looks great, especially your new wreath.
Thank you Eilis! Yes, he is a great shopper. I guess he knows me all too well! Thank you so much for your sweet comments. I hope that you have a wonderful day!!!
I love your front door. Just enough. Don’t crazy overdone. Are the pumpkins real or artificial in your beautiful cast iron planters? I think I’ll ditto your entire look this Fall
Thank you.
Hi Allison! The pumpkins are faux. I usually put real ones out. However, they can get quite expensive and depending on the heat can rot rather quickly. This year Walmart had these real looking faux pumpkins so I decided to go with these. Plus, I will be able to reuse them next year. Thank you so much for your very sweet comments. I’m so happy that you stopped by! I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed day!!!
Really like your porch! And, your husband is truly a great shopper. 🙂
Thank you so much Karen! I’ll be sure and tell him what you said. I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful afternoon!!!
Good for your hubby! I love them too and he got a STEAL! Your front porch looks fabulous!!
Thank you so much Pinky! I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful afternoon!!!
Nothing says Fall than a great Fall wreath of brilliant colors of orange and the amazing garland…not to mention the wonderful pumpkins to greet friends and family. I love that you added the pretty pansies too….Working on my front porch this weekend….I was hoping the temps would turn around so I do not have to put pumpkins out in 90 degree weather! The porch is beautiful Shannon!
Shirley, thank you so much for your sweet comments. I know what you mean about the 90 degree temps. One day it’s cooler here then we will have a 90 degree day. I used faux pumpkins on the porch this year, because our weather can sometimes be unpredictable. I wanted my pumpkins to last longer. Also, thanks for noticing the pansies. I like using pansies, because they will usually stay nice until the end of Spring. I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful afternoon!
