Happy Thursday, sweet friends! Today, I am back to show you a little more of my fall decorations and a special estate sale find. I hope that you are having a wonderful week and that you are enjoying these glorious days of autumn. This week we are truly grateful, because we received over two inches of rain. We are in a terrible drought and every drop of rain is a blessing.
I have been so excited to share this special find with you. Many of you have shared my love of Charles Faudree’s work. If you have been a long time reader of my blog, you know that I have been able to collect many of his treasures including the custom made rooster lamp and red toile chair in the vignette below. You may remember me telling you of attending his dear friend’s estate sale several months ago. As I was looking around the home, I happened to look down and spot this familiar red table. Upon further inspection of the table’s attached sales tag, I read that it was the personal table of Charles Faudree. As you would have guessed, that table had to come home with me.
The photo below was taken out of a Traditional Home design book that featured his personal home. As you can see, the red table is featured in this gorgeous room. I could never tire of looking at his beautiful designs. They are timeless!
The top of the table is so interesting with its upholstery work trimmed with nailheads.
My fall decorations are simple with fall picks placed below the blue and white plate display.
A simple fall arrangement of autumn berries, leaves, pumpkins and pinecones placed in a Spode Blue Italian pitcher complete the seasonal look.
Dear friends, as always, I am so happy that you stopped by to visit me today. I hope that your day is filled with lots of joy and peace. Take care!
Just lovely Shannon! I love where you placed your special find, centrally located so you can enjoy it all throughout the day! The table is stunning! So glad you got some much needed rain~
Oh my Shannon!!…What a great find!!! You need to frame a pic of that image in the book and place it on the table! Have a great weekend!
Lucky you! Charles Faudree is my all-time favorite interior designer. Enjoy his Spirit in your lovely home…
