A Merry Christmas Home Tour

Merry Christmas week dear friends, and welcome to my Christmas home tour! I hope this day finds you healthy and in good spirits. I had hopes of sharing this tour with you sooner and broke up into smaller posts. However, it seems time has been speeding by, and Christmas has snuck upon me! Only five more sleeps before the big day.

Please come in out of the cold, join me for a cup of warm cider, and a look at my home decorated for this wonderful season. It means so much to me that you have dropped by for a visit.

Our first stop is the entry. The first thing you will see off to the side of the foyer is my French cabinet. I chose to display pieces from my collection of Johnson Brother’s Friend Village along with magnolias, Christmas greens, berries, and pinecones.

Looking forward from the front door, you will see my staircase and landing. The stair railing is simply decorated with garland and red bows.

Simple Christmas picks are tucked here and there to add a special touch.

Next stop on the tour, is the dining room. This is a little corner of the room and is decorated with magnolia leaves, red berries, pinecones, and candles.

The china hutch is adorned with pine branches, beaded fruit, and red berries.

The leaves have already been added to the dining table to accommodate extra guests.

Not much changes from year to year in the living room. I love the traditional colors of Christmas and bringing out all of the special ornaments that I have collected through the years.

Pine garland and red bows dress the mantel along with my grandparent’s nativity.

It is my most favorite of decorations!

Last stop on the tour, is the pink sitting room. I was so excited to be able to decorate this room this year!

Santa happily stands watch over the room. I started collecting items for this room last year and purchased the new flocked tree in July.

My sweet friends, I am so happy that you were able to join me today for a little Christmas cheer. Your visits brighten my day. It is my wish that you have a most Merry Christmas filled with peace and lots of joy!

  6. Shannon – as always, your home delights and cheers! The greenery and red berries everywhere are so festive and charming. Both of your trees are beautifully done; the pink room looks like it was made JUST to have your new flocked tree there. My favorite is how you dressed your entry and your china hutch. They both look classic with the plates and the greenery woven in and out. Truly a beautiful Christmas home tour!
