Happy April, dear readers! Spring is in full bloom, and Easter is only a few short weeks away. Today, I am excited to be joining my tablescaping friends to bring you our spring tables. Our gracious hostess is Rita from the blog Panoply. A list and links to all of the beautiful tables can be found at the end of this post.
“April is a reminder that life is a beautiful, ever-renewing cycle.”-E.E. Cummings

An April Cornell tablecloth with a pale yellow background and pretty wildflowers was the inspiration for my Easter celebration. I paired it with a contrasting April Cornell table runner and placemats.

“People celebrate Easter with their near and dear ones. Nothing can be a better holiday to spend with your family than to celebrate the journey of the life of Jesus.”-Roma Downey

“The very first Easter taught us this: that life never ends and love never dies.”-Kate McGahan

Famille Rose dinnerware by Williams Sonoma joined by my grandmother’s pink glassware and Reed and Barton flatware comprises the place settings on my Easter table. I have long admired the Famille Rose dinnerware, and I am excited about using it this year for my Easter dinner.

“Easter spells out beauty, the rare beauty of new life.”-S.D. Gordon

A large white chocolate bunny with a basket of pink tulips presides over the festivities.

The sweet bunny is flanked by tulip candlesticks and decorative eggs. The decorative eggs remind me of the ones that used to be in my Easter basket when I was a little girl.

“By grace we are saved through faith.”-Kevin DeYoung

Scattered about the table, you will find sweet treats placed in Depression glassware that belonged to my great-grandmother. I may have helped myself to a few of the jelly beans.

“Blessed are those who have not seen and have yet believed.”-John 20-29

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”-1 Peter 1:3

On the other end of the table, I placed a vase of Redbud branches, a tea set ready for dessert, another dish of candy, and some little chicks that my mother used for Easter decoration when I was a little girl.

Sweet friends, I am so happy that you stopped by for a visit on this first blessed day of April. I hope that you have a most beautiful day and wonderful week ahead.

Linens and stemware are two of my weaknesses, and you have given me great eye candy this morning. I love the bold design and the beautiful spring colors of your tablecloth, placemats, and runner. You did a wonderful job mixing and matching. I would not have thought to put these two patterns together, but they are fabulous!
Your table is breathe taking. I love everything.
Good Morning Shannon,
Your guests will be so delighted to sit at your Easter table. Your Famille Rose dinnerware is gorgeous with the AC linens. I fell in love with the big bunny as it adds whimsy to your table.
Now I will be sitting here nibbling on the delicious candy!
Happy April!
Shannon, Your Famille Rose is perfect for Easter and paired with your beautiful April Cornell linens! I love your handsome rabbit as a centerpiece with the tulips in his basket. Your decorative eggs, mother’s sweet chicks and grandmother’s goblets make for beautiful memories and table. I love the addition of the Redbud branches in your vase bringing a bit of nature to the table too. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Happy April! 🐇 🌷
Shannon, your table is perfect for spring with the Famille Rose dinnerware and AC table linens. The white chocolate bunny is a showstopper with the redbud branches. How special to have your another’s sweet chicks and grandmother’s stemware. A beautiful table to embrace spring, Happy April.🐰🐣🌺
Shannon, I am smitten with your gorgeous rabbit centerpiece and I would love to pull up a chair to your beautiful Easter table! Happy spring, Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction
Shannon, springtime is blossoming on your table! I love the mix of colors and designs on the table and the intricacy of the Famille Rose china. It’s so fun to set a table with the full range of dishware in a given pattern. The depression glassware adds a sweet touch (not to mention the candy lol) and echoes the Easters long past. Have a wonderful Spring!
Shannon, your April Cornell tablecloth with the wildflowers certainly says spring to me. Living in Texas, wildflowers has always been a big part of my life. I've always been grateful to Lady Bird Johnson for instilling in me the love of wildflowers blooming free across the wide open roadways and meadows of Texas. Topping the cloth with your blue place mats adds a lovely layer. Of course your Chinoiserie plates add an elegant touch. I use mine often and recently gifted myself the teapot. Now I need to add the cream and sugar. Such pretty shapes and pattern. Happy Spring and Happy Easter!
Shannon, I am always so fascinated with your combination of patterns that makes me feel like I am in France. Your April Cornell tablecloth and contrasting runner and placemats are a big hit with me. And your choice of dinnerware is perfect and stunning for your linens. It all works so beautifully together with your cupboard in the background filled with your collection of blue and white China. Who can help but notice that large white chocolate bunny holding gorgeous tulips as your centerpiece. He certainly compliments the other classic pieces in the tablescape. It is like watching a hunny hopping through the gardens of France. Have a blessed Easter holiday.
Shannon, what a beautiful mix of patterns you have created here! The AC linens are gorgeous, and like Pattie, I never would have thought to put the two together, but it looks great. The Famille Rose dinnerware is so pretty and how special that you used your great-grandmother's depression glassware and your grandmother's pink glassware. I love the white chocolate bunny with pink tulips and the vase of Redbud branches. It's all just lovely. Happy spring and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter!
Shannon, your table is a beautiful display of glorious florals! Between the wonderful April Cornell tablecloth, runner and placemats and your gorgeous Famille Rose dinnerware you have created a stunning look. Your big white bunny with the load of blooming tulips makes for the perfect centerpiece. Love your tea set as well!! Lo lovely!!a I hope you have a wonderful spring and Easter🐇🌷🌱
Shannon, oh my, can you simply wrap it all up and send my way?! The combination of the April Cornell linens and Famille Rose china with your stemware has me swooning. Spring is my most favorite season, and these colors together just sing spring! I love the added touches of redbud branches and the rabbit centerpiece with tulips. Those tiny chicks that were from your childhood are the sweetest little accents on the tray.
Shannon, thank you for sharing your love of Easter blessings through your chosen prose, and beautiful table settings. I so appreciate you being part of this hop.
What a lovely Easter display. Wishing you and yours a Blessed Easter and Holy Week. God Bless.
Marion and Marilyn
I really loved the combination of color and pattern in this table setting, Shannon. Blue and yellow is a favorite combination and very French Country. It fits in perfectly with the rest of your dining room. Pairing such beautiful patterned dishes in all their lovely florals adds to the table. All the patterns mix just like a garden of wildflowers. The yellow is so cheerful and makes me think of a sunny day in the middle of a beautiful garden. Wishing you a lovely week,
Lynne, Thrifting Wonderland
Shannon I just love your charming Easter table! Your April Cornell foundation is perfect, and that bunny vase is really too adorable!! All your extra touches – like the eggs, candle holders, and delicate blossoms – make it just like a spring garden! And it’s so wonderful to have those memories of family when you use their pieces or follow the traditions. I call tell how warm and welcoming this table – and the whole room -are for your guests, with all the beauty and love you share! Thanks for sharing with us too! Happy Spring!
Shannon, your place settings are definitely the star of the table! They are so vibrant and colourful. Just like spring! The linens are gorgeous, and I love your bunny centrepiece. The eggs are so pretty and unique. The silver tray with the tea service and candy eggs is such a nice touch! Wishing you a joyful spring!
