Tablescape Thursday: A Valentine’s Table

Good morning, and welcome to Tablescape Thursday!  Today’s tablescape is a simple red and white table that is perfect for a Valentine’s dinner or breakfast. This tablescape was put together quickly by shopping my house.

The place setting consist of a Mikasa English Countryside plate with a red plate placed on top.  A plain clear goblet finishes off the setting. Anchoring the setting are cream linen placemats, and for added flair lace trimmed red napkins grace the ensemble.

I did not have time to pick up fresh flowers so I used this faux arrangement that I had on hand.  Its red colors work perfectly with the Valentine’s theme.

  2. Hi Shannon- this is so pretty! Love all the red. Your centerpiece looks wonderful. I often use faux flowers/plants for arrangements since it’s not always practical to get fresh flowers. Love the napkins- I think I used the same ones except in pink! Wishing you a Happy Valentin’es Day!
