Tablescape Thursday: A Nod to Spring

Good morning, and welcome to Tablescape Thursday.  Today’s tablescape has me dreaming of Spring and all the glory it brings…pretty flowers, warmer temperatures, chirping birds, and lots of wonderful sunshine.

The centerpiece gracing the table is a bouquet of Spring flowers accented with pretty pink candlesticks.

The plate stack consists of a blue plate that I purchased last Summer at Sur La Table and an American Fostoria salad plate.  The napkins are blue and white seersucker tied with a pink bow. A sprig of pink berries is tucked into each bow.

The finishing accompaniment to each place setting is an American Fostoria crystal glass.

Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope that you enjoy your day, and that you have a wonderful weekend!!!

    • Thank you, Shirley! My Great Grandmother loved the American Fostoria pattern. She collected several different pieces, and I am so fortunate to have inherited many of them. The pattern goes so well with so many different looks. It is a classic! I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!!!

  5. Love seeing American Fostoria in your tablescape. I have several pieces of Fostoria and know how it can add that extra sparkle no matter what theme your table setting is. I used it in formal, informal, rustic and holiday settings. Always looks beautiful.

  8. I inherited a lot of this Fostoria pattern that inspires me to bring it out of the bow front china cabinet I have similar to yours. I have the bird plates like yours and using them with striped napkins placed on wicker chargers in my breakfast room. I also have lots of blue and white pieces like you have. I love your home and use of antique and traditional decor. Keep up the lovely vignettes and Happy Easter???

    • Hi Brenda! Thank you so much for your very sweet comment. The Fostoria pattern goes so well with so many different looks. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend! Happy Easter!!!
