A Sweet and Spooky Halloween Table

Happy Weekend, sweet friends! I am so sorry that I have been absent from blogging this week. Lots of things have been going on around the house. Monday, I will be back to share my master bedroom. It is finally finished!

Today, I am inviting you to my Halloween party as part of the Hauntingly Beautiful Blog Hop hosted by Amber at Follow the Yellow Brick Home. There are seven homes featured on the hop that I know you will enjoy.  The full schedule is listed at the end of this post.

The table I am sharing was from last year’s party at my old house. With painting, repairs, etc., I haven’t had a lot of time for Halloween decorations. I am one of those people who cannot rest until everything is finished.

My Halloween party is not only spooky but a little sweet. The centerpiece gracing my table is a jack o lantern that my mom decorated with for Halloween when I was a little girl. He is flanked by a couple of ghosts and little goblins that my mother also used as her Halloween decor. I now decorate for my children’s Halloween party with these treasures. I love sentimental pieces that bring back such happy memories.

I am a girl who loves lots of saturated color. It just makes me happy! The underpinning of the table is a rich blue tablecloth with orange and yellow flowers. Bright red French linen napkins add another great pop of color. I love reds and oranges mixed with blue.

Pumpkin plates, burlap placemats, and American Fostoria crystal complete each place setting.
