The backdrop for the tablesetting is a navy blue tablecloth. For Fall, I love mixing blues, oranges, greens, and reds.

For the placesetting, green straw placemats accented with red napkins and red flower napkin rings are a perfect compliment to the colorful pumpkin plates.

A pumpkin plate is placed on top of the blue plate. The pumpkin plate is from the Better Homes and Gardens’ line at Walmart.

  5. Hi Shannon! I want those plates!!!! LOVE the colour combo! Really pretty! 😉 Hope it cools down for you soon. Although, I would take the 90 degree temps! 😉

  6. My favorite fall tables are ones with pumpkins so yours is a winner!

  7. OMG, I have those pumpkin plates but never would have thought of using bright green and blue with them. What a great look! Thanks so much for the beautiful inspiration!

    • Hi Zenda! Thank you so much for your sweet comments. I’m glad I gave you a different idea for your pumpkin plates. I love the blueberries that are mixed with the pumpkins on the plates, and that is what gave me the idea to mix the blues with the pumpkins. I really love those pumpkin plates! I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed weekend!!!

  8. What a pretty setting, Shannon! Your warm colors just make everything so inviting!I love your pumpkin plates, as well! Just lovely!

  10. Shannon, this is so pretty! I love the way you mixed the fall colors with the blue tablecloth. Those pumpkin plates are great too.

Hey, I saw on Instagram that you live in Mustang. I lived in Edmond for 23 years and we moved back to our home state of Texas 4 years ago. I love Oklahoma so much! Our oldest son is still there. September used to always be one of my favorite months there.

    • Thank you so much, Stacey, for your very sweet comments. Oklahoma is a great place to live. I have lived here all my life. I grew up on the Northeastern part of the state, but my husband’s job brought us to the Oklahoma City area. Our September has been really hot! Heat advisories were issued this week. Hopefully, it will cool off soon. I have bought my pansies for the back flower beds, but I am waiting for cooler temperatures before I plant them. I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!!!

  11. Shannon, your table is amazing! Ialways look forward to your beautiful tables each week. I especially love the dough bowl. I set up my second Fall table today and used my Grandmother’s dough bowl too. Great minds think alike! I was told I used to help her roll dough when I was a small girl. I was so happy she wanted me to have it when she went to assisted living many, many years ago.

    • Hi Catherine! Thank you so much for the very sweet comment. I’m very flattered that you look forward to my tablescapes. It is especially flattering coming from someone who does very beautiful tablescapes herself! What a wonderful treasure and memory to have you grandmother’s dough bowl. Those types of items are the ones I treasure the most. I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed week!!!

  12. Your table is lovely! I love to mix cobalt blue with orange fall colors. God willing, first thing tomorrow morning, I’ll be off to buy those plates!

    • Ana Maria, you just made me laugh! You sound like you love dishes as much as I do! Walmart also had other pieces in the pumpkin collection. I believe I saw a platter and a bowl. Thank you so much for your very sweet comments. Good luck, tomorrow, finding your dishes!!!

  13. Love, love, love the mixture of colors and patterns. I am so very fond of the dark tablecloth and the use of the bright orange pumpkins, yellow and green gourds. It is such a charming, country-style fall tablescape. It all works so perfectly together!

    • Hi Marsha! Thank you so much for your very sweet comments. The navy blue tablecloth gets a work out around here! It goes with so many different color palettes and makes a great backdrop for a tablesetting. I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed day!

  14. What beautiful pumpkin pates! Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!

  15. Shannon you are so talented and I love all of your decor. Thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story, have a great weekend!
