A Merry Musical Christmas Tablescape

Merry Christmas, dear friends! My sweet and talented blogging friend Amber at Follow the Yellow Brick Home is hosting a Merry Musical Blog Tour. Amber is not only a talented home decor blogger, but she is also a music teacher. Her love of music inspired her to host this fun tour. She challenged us to show how we incorporated music into our holiday decor. A list of all of the participants is at the end of this post. If you are visiting from Art and Sand, welcome. I just love Carol’s sweet seaside cottage. She adores color as much as I do.

I was so excited when Amber came up with the idea of a Merry Musical Blog Tour.  I adore music and Christmas carols in particular. During this joyous season, you will find carols playing in the background of my home. The carols bring back such fond memories of my mother playing the piano, and she, my grandfather, and I singing carols together. My grandfather had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.

.For this fun challenge, I decided to create a Merry Musical Tablescape.

Gracing my table are my Dicken’s Carolers.

For the floral centerpiece, I chose to use the arrangement that I had already created my dining room. It consists of red berries, greens, and magnolia leaves.

Each place setting consists of my Spode Blue Italian china and Mikasa crystal goblets.

Topping each setting is a vintage piece of Christmas sheet music tied with a red ribbon. Christmas greens are tucked in for an added seasonal touch.

For an extra special touch, magnolias and red berries are placed into teacups at each placesetting.

Thanks so much for your visits and kind comments. I hope that you all have a blessed day and a wonderful weekend. Up next on the tour is The Crowned Goat.
