Christmas Blessings

Good morning friends, and welcome to our annual Christmas Tablescaping Blog Hop. Can you believe that Christmas is only 18 days away? Where does the time go? Today, I am so excited to be joining my table decor loving friends and want to thank Rita at Panoply for hosting this fun event. You will find a list and links to all of the participants at the end of this post.

Please step inside and gather around my table while we reflect on our Christmas blessings. There is plenty of warm apple cider and lots of holiday cheer!

A Ralph Lauren plaid tablecloth paired with an April Cornell tablerunner provides a warm and traditional backdrop for the table setting.

The plate stack consist of a gold charger, my favorite Spode Blue Italian china, and a Pioneer Woman Christmas Tree Plate. To add a little more interest to the table, I love to mix patterns and color. I used my usual Oneida Michelangelo flatware paired with Pioneer Woman napkins.

My favorite Godinger Dublin glassware completes each setting.

For the centerpiece, I used my Spode Blue Italian pitcher and wash basin. It was a birthday gift from my sweet Mr. Bleu. I chose red roses, candy cane colored carnations and Christmas greens for my arrangement.

Dear friends, I am so happy that you stopped by for a visit. It makes my day! Please be sure and visit the other tables on the hop. I know you will find some wonderful inspiration for your Christmas tables. Wishing you a most beautiful and blessed day!

Merry Christmas Shannon, I love your table. The Christmas tree plates by Pioneer Woman are so pretty. I don't think they have made it to our stores yet. The shape of the plate caught my eye as well as the simple yet beautiful design. Having the napkins to match is nice, too.

  21. Shannon, Merry Christmas to you and yours! What I love most about your tablescape is your wild abandon in using pattern and texture so freely, very french-like! I love the plate stack (Pioneer Woman – would've never guessed!), and how you've combined collected and classic with use of your Spode & Godinger, and RL and April Cornell. Thank you for participating in this holiday blog hop. Wishing you the best of the season.

  23. Shannon, you are so very talented at mixing and matching different patterns, prints to style a stunning table! I wish I had your eye for layered styling. I especially liked your tablecloth and runner combination. And, you've done a wonderful job of using red with blue for a setting that compliments the rest of your room, while not looking patriotic, but seasonally festive.

  27. Shannon, your table is so elegant and lovely! I love how your blue Spode china pops against the traditional green and red Christmas colors on the table. The centerpiece is gorgeous and says Christmas with the addition of evergreens. I'm mad for plaid, so I'm crushing over that Ralph Lauren tablecloth! I'm crazy about those Pioneer Woman plates, too. I've never seen them before! It's always fun to hop with you. Merry Christmas!

  28. Shannon, I seriously am in love with your traditional table! Your knack of mixing and matching colours and patterns has creating a stunning festive table. I never would have thought to pair the blue Spode plates with the traditional Pioneer Woman Christmas plates, but I sure will keep this idea tucked away for another time! I love anything plaid, and your tablecloth is the perfect base layer for your table! A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!

  29. Love the mix of patterns for your linens and China. Makes for a very interesting and beautiful table.
