Alfresco Dining with Butterflies

Happy Thursday, sweet friends! This week, I am joining a wonderful group of bloggers to bring you our alfresco tables. This fun hop is being hosted by the very talented Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate. A schedule of the tables can be found at the end of this post.

This summer, I have really enjoyed tablescaping in my new outdoor space. However, last week the temperatures were brutal hovering in triple digit territory! Luckily, this week we have had a little reprieve from the extreme heat. Temperatures have remained in the low 90s with a slight northerly breeze. These pleasant evenings are the perfect occasion for alfresco dining.

The theme of this tablescape was inspired by some beautiful visitors…Swallowtail Butterflies.  They love my Impatiens!!!

The underpinning as well as the china I chose for my table is by Lenox. It is the Blue Butterfly Meadow pattern.

As you can see by the pattern, they are the perfect tribute to my sweet visitors. Green straw placemats help to anchor each settting.

Mikasa Golden Tiara stemware, seersucker napkins, and butterfly napkin rings complete the look. The napkin rings are also by Lenox.

The centerpiece is simple with blue hydrangeas placed in a jardiniere.

Thank you all for your visits and comments. Please be sure to visit the other bloggers on the tour. I know you will find some wonderful inspiration for your summer tables. This group always amazes and inspires me with their wonderful creations. Take care and have a beautiful day, dear friends!!!
