A Time to Give Thanks

Good morning, dear readers. Today, I am joining my talented tablescaping friends to bring you our Thanksgiving tables. Our fearless leader is Rita at Panoply. A list and links to the participants is at the end of this post.

Time is sure flying by so quickly! I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is only a little over two weeks away.

Last week, the weather was gorgeous with warm sunshine and pretty blue skies. It was the perfect setting for an outdoor Thanksgiving tablescape.

The tablecloth I chose had a deep blue color palette accented by orange tones.

Copper chargers provide an anchor for the plate stack. In yesterday’s post, I paired my turkey plates with my Grandmother’s Spode Rosebud Chintz china. You can view that tablescape here. For today’s tablescape, I paired the plates with my Spode Blue Italian plates creating an entirely different look. Each setting is accented with an embordered Crown Linen Design napkin.

A Spode Blue Italian pitcher was the perfect choice for a vessel to hold my arrangement of blooms. I have a weakness for coral roses and can never pass them up. In addition to the roses, red tulips and mums complete the arrangement.

Thank you so much for your visits and kind words. I hope that you have a day full of blessings and joy!

Your flower arrangement, especially the tulips spilling over your Spode Blue Italian pitcher, are beautiful. I've been admiring those CLD monogrammed napkins, they are lovely. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Happy Tuesday. ♥

  9. Shannon, that setting is outstanding for your beautiful tablescape. I love the turkey plates on the blue Spode. The alternating colorway from the tablecloth to the charger, dinner plate and salad makes for a very eye appealing composition. Again, that glowing backdrop is amazing. The floral centerpiece is stunning, thanks to those coral roses! Wishing you a most blessed Thanksgiving. Thank you for joining the hop today.

  21. I don't know what happened to my comment Shannon but I lost it. :(. unfortunately I can't remember what I said…but that is ok cause I don't remember what I ate for dinner. LOL. I love your al fresco table and we eat out almost daily here in Florida and your background of yellow and orange is so pretty. Your blue contrasts so nicely with the coral flowers. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  22. We seemed to have the same inspiration of pairing blues with oranges/coppers. It's a classic combination that I never tire of. The lovely tablecloth — to the floor! — is the perfect base for your mix of dishware accompanied by graceful crystal stemware and beautiful flatware. Can you share the pattern name? The flowers are stunning, full and vibrant. Altogether wonderful!

  23. Stunning Shannon!! Your outdoor setting is wonderful!! The Spode pitcher filled with such a gorgeous bouquet of colorful flowers is fabulous!! The place settings are wonderful and set off with your beautiful napkins. All is so pretty!! Happy Thanksgiving!🧡🍗

  24. Shannon, I am so drawn to your lovely outdoor table since it has so much contrast going on, especially all of the colors of your table among the green of your back yard. Your choice of your bold blue dinnerware with your coral roses are more than stunning and more eye-catching contrast. The bold colors you are using speaks for itself –elegant and classic. The copper chargers and turkey salad plates makes a perfect and unquestionable match. They all are meant to be together. Gorgeous. Happy Thanksgiving!

  25. Gorgeous Shannon! Everything. Really! I love the bold blue tablecloth. And, those copper chargers make a big impact. You probably know how much I love a beautiful centrepiece and yours is stunning!
