PATRIOTIC FRONT PORCH

PATRIOTIC FRONT PORCH

I love to decorate my front porch for each season or holiday.  Today, I would like to share with you my Patriotic front porch that I finished putting together this past weekend.

I really wanted a new wreath this year done in red, white, and blue. However, I looked everywhere and could not find one that I liked. So, Saturday morning, I decided to make my own wreath. I have a huge container of silk flowers and ribbon so in a way it was like “no cost” decorating.

The tall Uncle Sam is a family tradition. I have had him since my first born was a baby.  Every year, the kids love to get him out and display him on our porch.  It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July without him.

Lastly, I added some flags and blue checked ribbon to my flower pots to tie the patriotic theme together.

    • Thank you for the sweet comments, Rhonda. My thoughtful husband bought those planters for $5 at an estate auction. He thought they were something I would like. I’m glad he thought of me, because I simply adore them! Have a great week!!!
