Living Room Design - French Country

WELCOME TO MY HOME
Today, I would like to introduce you to my blog and give you a short tour of my home.   We purchased our house four years ago and have spent a lot of time updating and making our home a better place for our family to live. I always decorate on a budget and a lot of my home decor are things that were given to me by family members or items I have found on sale.   The things I treasure the most are the special things that were given to me by loved ones.  They are things I could never part with.  I love things that have meaning and tell a story. Therefore, I always find a way to incorporate them into my decor.  As you can tell, I'm a very sentimental person.  I think that is why I love French Country decor.  It has that "aged over time" feel. My husband and I do a lot of the work ourselves.  It’s a hobby and passion we both share.  We have spent many a weekend or vacation improving our home. I’m notorious for coming up with an idea or plan, and my dear sweet husband is always there to make my vision into a reality.

I want to thank you  for sharing this exciting new journey with me.  I also want to thank my husband for inspiring and encouraging me to pursue my dreams.  I look forward to sharing my future projects with you.  I'll be featuring home remodel projects, home decor ideas, recipes, crafts, and tablescapes.  So without further  ado, let the tour begin!!!

  9. I really like the rug in your living room. Will you share where you purchased it?

    • Hi Debby! The rug is probably about 4 years old and was purchased from QVC. It was part of the Linda Dano collection. She used to have really pretty home decor items on QVC, but I haven’t seen her on there lately. I’m sorry I am not much help. I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful week!
