A Spring Vignette for the Kitchen

Good morning, sweet friends!  While preparing for Easter visitors, I have been adding little spring touches throughout my house. Today, I want to share with you a vignette that I created for the kitchen. I decided to place my display on my breakfast table.

For my vignette, I gathered items I already had on hand and added fresh flowers from the grocery store.

To create interest, I collected items of different shapes and sizes. I placed my vignette on a tray. I love to use trays and platters to display collections upon.  To give something more height, you can perch your item on a stack of small plates or a small cake stand. I made the little blue and white eggs last year. They were simple to create. I took plastic Easter eggs and decoupaged them with strips of blue and white fabric.

This sweet little Peter Rabbit teapot was a gift filled with flowers when my first child was born. My baby’s nursery was decorated in the Beatrice Potter theme. It is such a classic!

It was so nice to see the bright sun shining through the breakfast nook window. We have had rain for several days, and next week’s forecast looks to be the same.

I have a had this Pottery Barn bunny rabbit cookie jar for a few years. I gave him an extra festive touch with a pretty pink bow.

Thank you so much for your visits, and the sweet and encouraging comments that you leave. I hope that you all have a happy and blessed Easter weekend!!!
