A Simple Summer Coffee Table

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends! Today, I really wanted to share more of the kitchen and sunroom renovations, but we are still working with contractors. A few loose ends such as sheet rock repairs and a new wood transition piece for the sunroom floor are being completed this week. Our project should be closed out by the end of the week, and I will be able to give you a tour of the other spaces.

For today, I will show you an simple summer coffee table vignette. This setting was so easy to create using a few fresh flowers from the market and some decor items that I already had on hand.

With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, I was inspired to go with a patriotic red, white, and blue theme.

I gathered flowers from my grocery store and simply arranged them in a blue and white teapot placed on a blue and white tray.

One of my favorite coffee table books with a blue and white plate adds a little more texture to the display.

Rounding off the look is a pair of candlesticks.

There you have it…a quick and easy summer vignette using items that you have on hand!!! I hope that you all have a very happy and blessed day, dear friends!!!

  1. Love the arrangement Shannon … and the chair!! … Beautiful, beautiful vignette as always….Looking forward to your renovations!!

    • Thank you, Shirley! The chair is a Charles Faudree chair that I purchased in a local consignment shop. I couldn’t believe it! How is the packing coming along? I know that it is tough work, but I also know that you are anxious to start your new home. How exciting!!! I know that it is going to be beautiful!!!

    • Thank you, Penny! I was so excited to find that chair. It is a Charles Faudree chair that I found at a local consignment shop. It had to come home with me! I hope that you are having a wonderful week!!!

  4. Shannon, your vignette is lovely. So love the blue and white, especially holding your very pretty arrangement. If your gorgeous chair ever comes up missing, it is with me. But, not to worry I will love and take very good care of it.

Have a great day and I am looking forward to your breakfast room!

  5. Love your version of red, white, and blue! I need to get some out myself (and put away the Easter eggs…)

  6. A beautiful design with the blue and white pieces. Is the plate on the book part of a set; I’m looking for new dishes?

    • Hi Brenda, yes the plate can be part of a dinner set. I was recently visiting Texas and stopped by a Pottery Barn Outlet. I purchased the salad plates, and they were open stock. I believe I remember seeing these dishes in the Pottery Barn catalog in the Fall. Thanks so much for your sweet comment!!!

  7. Striking patriotic coffee table vignette. Love the teapot as a vase. Look forward to seeing your other reveals.
You have been a busy lady with so much going on.
