A SIMPLE FALL COFFEE TABLE VIGNETTE

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I hope that your week is going great.  Tomorrow will be the first day of Fall, and what better way to usher in the new season than with a simple coffee table vignette. When decorating for a new season, I like to add little touches throughout the house.  Adding small reminders of the season that abounds makes a house more cozy and inviting.  My coffee table vignette is simple, but still reminds one that Fall is in the air.

I found this antique brass bowl while shopping at an antique shop a few weeks ago.  It is the perfect container for holding glitter pumpkins, metallic gourds, and pine cones. When the season is over, I’m sure I will find another use for it.

Books were added to the table, and an English Ivy was placed on top. Books are a great decorative accessory.

Another book was placed on the coffee table, and a pretty blue and white plate was placed upon it.

Lastly, a pair of antique brass candlestick holders with cream candlesticks were placed on the table.

With just a few simple items you can bring a touch of Fall into your homes.  By simply adding a few beaded pumpkins, metallic gourds, and pine cones to a bowl,  a touch of Fall was introduced into the living room.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Tomorrow, I will be featuring a Fall inspired tablescape. I hope that you will join me. Have a wonderful Wednesday and enjoy this last day of Summer!

  3. Hi Shannon, thank you for your comment on my blog. It allowed me to discover your lovely blog. I can see that I will be back often since I absolutely love your style of decorating. I have a lot of catching up to do. The coffe table vignette is so interesting. I love those brass candlesticks.

    • Hi Peggy! Thank you so much for your very sweet and kind comments! The brass candlesticks belonged to the late Mr. Charles Faudree. I have a couple of other items that belonged to him, a rooster lamp and French pastry table. My husband purchased them for me at Mr. Faudree’s estate sale. I wrote a post about it in July. I’m so happy that you stopped by, and agian thanks for your very sweet comments. I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed weekend!!!

  6. Hi. Is the blue and white plate from Vista Alegre?

    • Hi Filipa! The plate is not Vista Alegre. It is a plate that I picked up at a little resale shop. The back of the plate says the maker is Oriental Accent. I’m so happy that you stopped by, and I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed weekend!!!
