Belle Bleu Interiors Christmas Front Porch 5

As you step through the front door, your enter the foyer. It is a small area, so I have kept my Christmas decor simple. I placed a pretty Christmas wreath on the coat closet door and a vignette on the bombay chest.

The vignette on the bombay chest is simple with a holiday floral arrangement dominated by red flowers, a blue and white plate, and pretty gold reindeer placed upon a tray.

After you have walked through the foyer, you enter the living room.  The color palette I chose for my Christmas decor is blue, red, gold, and silver.

I love to use traditional ornaments that have been collected over time on my Christmas tree. Angels and nativity scenes reflect the true meaning of Christmas.

I also took some night pictures of the room. I like the way the lights give off a warm glow in the evening.

I kept my coffee table simple, but still reflected the Christmas season. I placed red candlesticks and a pitcher of beautiful white roses upon a Christmas book to create my vignette.

Now, let’s step into the kitchen. I like that you can enjoy the Christmas Tree from both the living room and the ktichen.

On the kitchen table, I placed a lace runner.   On top of the runner, I placed my Grandmother’s white pedestal bowl and filled it with apples and pine branches. Flanking the bowl are crystal candlestick holders with red candles.

Your mantel is also another job well done! Love those large windows in your living room – must feel so bright year round. Your kitchen is lovely and I like all the little touches you’ve added there especially the wreath on the pantry door and the pitcher of greens on your island. Enjoyed my stop here!

    • Thank you, Lori, for the sweet and kind words. We do love the windows in the living room. They allow a lot of great light to enter the room, and I love bird watching. 29. Hi Shannon and Merry Christmas! As a child, I always loved a touch of blue for Christmas and you’ve brought back some fond memories. I remember seeing houses decorated with all blue lights and thought that was just the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen with white snow all around. People don’t seem to use as much blue as they used to so I really notice it when they do. I wish you a very Merry Christmas. Pat @ Bringing French Country Home
