French Country Master Bathroom Reveal

Since early January, we have had several projects going on around our house. First, there was new flooring followed by a master bathroom remodel. Today, I am so excited to share with you the new and improved space. For the most part, the bones of the room were good.  However, several things needed to be updated. For example, the stain on the cabinets was faded, and the counter tops needed to be replaced. Mr. Bleu and I are so happy with the way the new space turned out.

Before we get to the new pictures, I need to show the space before all of the changes.

The stain on the cabinets was badly faded and worn.

The mirrors were trimmed with base boards which drove Mr. Bleu crazy!

Now for the new and improved space……….

Instead of re-staining the cabinets, we decided to paint them black, add pretty embellishments, and install new hardware.

We chose Carrara marble for the counter tops and replaced the faucets with a style that fit the French Country theme.

We took down the existing mirrors and replaced them with new ones that we purchased at a local store.

Above the bathtub was a recessed light that was replaced with a ceiling medallion and a chandelier.

I also love the beautiful rug, not what one expects to see in a bathroom, which is what makes it look so spectacular. I am going to subscribe to your blog, you have a unique look I like..
