Happy Monday, everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! It is finally starting to feel like Fall around here, and that makes me happy. The morning temperatures have actually dipped into the upper 40s. This past weekend, I was able to plant my Fall flowers, and visit a pumpkin patch. There is just something so wonderful about the Fall season! Last week, I shared with you my kitchen dressed for Fall. Today, I would love to give you a tour of my French Country Living room adorned for the Autumn season. I don’t go totally overboard with the Fall decor in the living room. I like to add little touches around the room that lends a nod to the season. You may want to grab a cup of coffee or tea, because I took lots of pictures. I don’t know about you, but I love lots of pictures!
As you pass the entry hall, you are greeted by this distressed red cabinet.
I chose to create this simple Fall vignette for the top of the cabinet. I simply took a tray and added books, blue and white china, a Fall arrangement, and a small gold pumpkin.
I created a Fall arrangement and placed it in an antique brass container that I purchased at Round Top last Spring.
This year, I chose to create a simple Fall vignette for the coffee table. I simply placed some glitter and metallic pumpkins and gourds in a French looking antique brass container.
This is a perfect spot to sit, read a book, and have a cup of tea.
There are built in bookcases on each side of the fireplace. This is where I have displayed a lot of my blue and white collection.
My fireplace mantel is not very big, so I kept my Fall decor to a minimum. I simply placed a pretty embellished pumpkin on the mantel beside a blue and white ginger jar. On the hearth, I placed a basket filled with pine branches, pine cones, acorns, and a pumpkin.
This is the view of the wall of windows that look out into our back yard. In this area, I placed a settee flanked by end tables.
The clock on this table is a favorite of mine. It is an antique clock that was a Christmas gift from my sweet husband. I adore clocks! You will find them all over my house.
The chair below sits in another corner of the living room.
Thank you so much for joining me for my French Country Living Room Fall Tour. I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed day!!!
