Christmas Sunroom and Kitchen Tour

Welcome, dear friends! Can you believe that Christmas is less than a week away? We have been extra busy around my house getting ready for the big day and celebrating the season. Today, I want to welcome you in for a tour of my sunroom and kitchen decorated for the joyous season. This is the center of my home, and where our family gathers. We have been especially busy making several batches of delicious cookies.

The sunroom tree is a special tree that the kids decorate. The only thing I added was the red bows. It is a tree that is adorned with precious homemade ornaments and ornaments conveying special family memories.

On this tree, you will find sweet little hands made into tiny reindeer. It’s hard to believe the little boy that made this ornament is now 21 years old. It seems like only yesterday.

You will find a happy smiling face from a precious preschooler having a fabulous time at her Christmas party. This was taken 10 years ago.  My sweet Caroline is always the life of the party, and this picture captures her personality perfectly!

You will find a few ornaments marking baby’s first Christmas. This one in particular is from a very significant Christmas nine years ago. Oklahoma had one of the most memorable blizzards ever. It is a Christmas that we will never forget.

Yew branches gathered from my yard along with some red berries I had on hand create a simple arrangement for the coffee table.

There is no shortage of delicious treats for guests to enjoy. Won’t you join me for a peanut butter blossom cookie and a cup of tea?

Now for a tour of the Christmas kitchen. I have really enjoyed cooking in my new space.

This is a glance into the living room from the kitchen.

Below is a little beverage station that I created on a tiered tray.

Sweet friends, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! May your heart be full during this joyous season!
