Butler’s Pantry and More Kitchen Pictures

Happy Tuesday, dear friends! I hope that your week is off to a great start! After some extreme summertime heat, with several days in the triple digits, today’s high is forecasted to be 84 degrees. Can you believe that for the last day of July? I am going to enjoy it while I can because, I’m sure those high summer temperatures will appear again.

For today’s post, I am ready to share the butler’s pantry with you. Before we tour the new space, let’s take a look at the way the area looked before the remodel.  This space was a pass through from the kitchen to the formal dining room.

In this pass through, there were two decent sized closets. However, we had an idea that would create a more functional space…a new butler’s pantry.  I have really missed the butler’s pantry that was at my previous house. Therefore, I was very excited to be able to create a butler’s pantry in my new home. My sweet Mr. Bleu tore out the closets and created a space that would accommodate the new cabinetry. Mr. Bleu is gifted at home repairs, and his skills and hard work has saved us lots of money on home renovation projects.

Below is the new and improved space. We decided to go with stained cabinetry that ties back to the color of the kitchen island and continue the brick flooring. I really love the brick flooring. It is timeless and never shows dirt. The back splash is the same tumbled marble that we used in the kitchen. This remodeled  pass through has given us lots of storage and added counter space that can serve as a beverage or dessert bar when entertaining.

The cabinet company that remodeled our kitchen hired a professional photographer to take photographs of the new kitchen. Below are several photographs courtesy of Tara Judd Photography. Tara does a beautiful job and really captures the kitchen wonderfully!!!
