An Angelic Christmas Table

My sweet friends, this week you are in for a real treat! The talented Chloe, at Celebrate and Decorate, is hosting a Holiday Tablescape Blog Hop.  The schedule is posted below, and I know that you will find lots of wonderful inspiration for your holiday entertaining.

This year’s table is very special to me. It was created using my Grandmother’s china.  Although, she is no longer with us, I know that she would love this tablescape. Therefore, I am dedicating this special table to her.

I found this tablecloth a couple of weeks ago at Homegoods. I knew the vibrant red would be perfect for the holidays.

My Grandmother’s china with the pretty blue flowers plays perfectly against the bright red. The china is called Blue Madeira.

I paired the blue floral china with my Mikasa English Countryside. Each setting is anchored with a scalloped gold charger plate and gold lace placemats. I finished off each setting with American Fostoria crystal and Oneida Michelangelo flatware.

The centerpiece is a large blue and white bowl filled with red ornaments and pinecones. Pine branches and a cream lace table runner span the center of the table.

Flanking each end of the centerpiece are gold pillar candle holders and angels. I love these gold angels and look forward to using them each Christmas season.

I am so happy that you stopped by for a visit today. This week, be sure to check out the other blogger’s tables.  I know that you will be inspired! Also, if you missed last week’s living room tour you can click the link below. I hope that you have a wonderful Monday, dear friends!!!

  41. Thank you so much for being part of the Christmas tablescape blog hop! Your table truly is angelic, and your grandmother’s china shines as the most beautiful focal point of the design. The shot of the centerpiece with the china cabinet in the background is gorgeous, and shows how nicely you tied the decorations together between the two areas. The lace placemats are also so delicate and pretty!
