French Country Spring Living Room Tour

Today, is the first official day of Spring.  Truth be told, it has felt like Spring in Oklahoma for the past couple of weeks.  The warmer temperatures have inspired me to Spring house clean and brighten up my living room for the new season. I’ve added a few new things and switched some other things around to give the room a fresh, new look.

Fresh or faux flowers add so much beauty and life to a room. This pretty blue vase belonged to my great aunt, and I love the way it looks on my coffee table with the fresh white flowers.

I have been admiring this Louis XV Bergere chair at a local consignment shop for the past month. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So last week, it followed me home. I love it in this corner of my living room and it is just what this space needed.  The chair and a half along with its matching ottoman was moved upstairs. It is better suited in the family room.

For the warmer months, I added these new Chinoiserie pillows to my settee.

On the console table in the living room, I created a Spring display with a rabbit and pretty blue hydrangeas.

I am so happy that you stopped by for the tour. There is lots of wonderful Spring inspiration to be found this week. Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate is hosting a Spring Tablescape Blog Hop. There is a schedule posted below. I will be presenting my table on Wednesday. Be sure and visit all of the other talented ladies. I know there will be lots of pretties. I hope that you have a beautiful first day of Spring, sweet friends!!!
