Autumn Touches in the Living Room

Happy Thursday, sweet friends! I hope that you are having a great week! I have been trying to take pictures of my fall decor to share with you, but it has been so cloudy and rainy making it difficult to do so. We’ve whad a lot of rain the past couple of weeks with very little sunshine. In fact, Monday it was 39 degrees when I woke up. I think we may just go from summer to winter.

For the coffee table, I chose to shop the house. The autumn arrangement has been part of my decor for the past several years. To give it a new look, I simply placed it on a mirrored gold tray and added some elegant gold birds. Also on the coffee table, you will find antique brass candlestick holders with autumn candle rings. A collection of my favorite fall magazines complete the look.

If you saw my post about the autumn mantel, you will remember me telling you that my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel painting was relocated. It now resides over the sofa flanked by sconces and chinoiserie ginger jars.

A glittered pumpkin surrounded by fall berries perched upon antique books adds another touch of autumn to the room. Simple little additions are perfect to add a little fall to your room.

A fall wreath that ties back to the mantel garland is hung upon the living room door with a clear command strip.

Thank you so much for your visits and sweet comments. They make my day!!! I hope that you all have a wonderful Thursday, dear friends!
